Hi,everyone.My name is Li Hua,today I‘d like to talk about one of my favourite basketball players,his name is Kobe(科比).I believe all boys have heared this name,he borned in America at August 23,1978.
I like him because he is a high-skilled player,every time when I watch the game,he can surprise me all the time,such as an accurate shot at the important moment will make me feel excited.And once he said,the reason why he chose the number 24 is because there are 24 hours in a day,he wanted to put 100 percent of his energy on the game,if he couldn't,he is not Kobe.And another factor that he can attract me is his smlie,that smile is a magic because every time I see the smile I will feel calm and happy,and I will smile too.
What I have learned from him is that I should try my best to pursue what I want,and I will not be regretful.

The topic I talk today is “Michael Phelps——-my favourite sportsman ”.
Michael Phelps is a great American swimmer who was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 30, 1985. When he was seven years old.. he started swimming and experienced much tough professional training. At the age of 15, he attended the 2000 Olympics and placed fifth in the 200-meter butterfly as the youngest male athlete to compete in the Olympics since 1932. Furthermore, at the Beijing Olympic Games, Phelps realized his 8- gold medal dream and bravely broke 7 world records, creating the history. It is neither genius nor extraordinary ability that gives us power to deal with and overcome whatever hardship one is confronted with. It is this kind of spirit that enables us to endure the difficult moments and attain our goals.The determined spirit gives us light when we are in dark moments and encourages when we are frustrated.
It’s no wonder that where there’s a will, there’s a way., as the old saying says.It is not easy to cultivate this determined spirit. To do this, we must establish a firm faith in our actions and be ready to devote ourselves to them.
