continuous和continual这两个词,即使在牛津字典里查,意思也非常相近.都指连续不断的..他们有一点区别..continual带有贬义...更侧重于对一种令人恼火的无休止状态...比如
continual rain,talking,interruptions 不停的雨,谈话,打扰..
而continous 是中性词..
contant有两层意思,第一,指一种持续不便的状态,描写某物一直处于某个状态.比如a constant speed,value.恒定的速度,值.
第二,和continual 的意思相近..比如constant chattering,没完没了的饶舌.
