题中就是说有一个正方形的平台,在其周围有一圈宽为X米的过道(过道将正方形平台包围),并且告诉过道的总面积是132,正方形平台的边长比过道的宽度要宽上5米,问你正方形平台的面积.
你只要设过道的宽度是X,那么平台的边长(即正方形的边长)就是X+5.
这时候你再按照题意画出个图就更方便你解题了,方程为:
2(3X+5)X+2(X+5)X=132. 解得X=3,面积就为64
