I have been always dreaming of going to the University of Hong Kong since I was 15 when I just finished my visit to HKU.What HKU appeals to me most is its academic atmosphere of freedomand the close connection with the whole globe.As the poem written by Petőfi goes,” Both can be given up for freedom.” In my opinion,freedom is what a citizen of a civilized country have to fight for with his life.And I think one with a great ambition must base his aspiration on the great sight.Having considered all those above,the University of Hong Kong is the best choice with its rich history and culture and lofty reputation.
As for major,I choose BSC(AC) as my first choice and BECON/BFIN/BECON&FIN as my second choice.At present,our country is in the state of the beginning of the building of the financial market.There is also a lack of the person of the financial talent in our country for the coming decades.So I think such a choice would guarantee good quality graduate work satisfying my expect of the future.Compared with most western countries ,China is still not so mature in the financial field.My strong will to undertake the responsibility to help develope our country in her undeveloped fields makes up a part of the driving force for me to make such a choice as well.
Concerning about future,to achieve my goals of life and be a better person,I’m looking forward to becoming a member of the University of Hong Kong eagerly.

I have been dreaming of studying in the University of Hong Kong since I had paid a visit to HKU at the age of 15.What HKU impressed me most is her great academic atmosphere and close connection with the countries outside China. As Petőfi's poem goes, "Both life and love can be gave away for the sake of freedom ." In my opinion,freedom is what a citizen from a civilized country has to fight for with his life. And I think the ambitious should ground their aspiration on great sight. As regards to the above factors, the University of Hong Kong is deemed to be the best choice with her long history, her profound culture and lofty reputation.
