There was once a king who lived with his three sons in a castle by the sea.He was a king but he was not rich.The only treasure he had was a golden crown,but he was a happy king.He love his sons very much,and from time to time,a beautiful bird came and flew around the castle,singing the sweetest song that was ever heard.
One day the king's three sons came to him and said,"Father,we would all like to get married.Can you find us each wife?"
The king was worried,because if his sons married he world have to give them each a present but he only had one golden crown.And he could not choose which son to give it do.So he said,"I will help you find wives,but first you must help me.Go out and find the beautiful bird that visits me-the bird of the Golden Land.Whoever brings me the bird will have my golden crown."
So the three sons went out to look for the bird.They walked all day and stopped at a samllwooded house for the night.
