A method for simultaneous determination of harmful trace elements in un-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) was studied.Under the optimum condition,the method of simultaneous determination of trace elements in PVC-U popes such as Cd,Pd,Sn and Hg by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry was established.The detection for elements are 0.007-0.17g/ml.The recoveries are 95.12%--106.00%.The relative standard deviation are 1.5%--2.9%.This method is accurate,rapid and convenient with satisfactory results.
