这个结构"not so……as to ”不仅否定了形容词或副词，而且也否定其后的不定式。
请问我这样理解正不正确？如果正确的话，和您所说的第二种否定式有没有矛盾？
1.She's surely not so naive as to believe his story
她肯定不会轻信他编造的故事（她不会那么幼稚，所以不会轻信他编造的故事）
2.She is not so foolish as to do that
她不至于愚蠢到干出那样的事来（她不会那么愚蠢，所以不会干出那样的事）
3.I am not so violently bent upon my own opinion as to reject any offer proposed by wise men我并不刚愎自用，以至于对贤人高见一概排斥
（她不会那么刚愎自用，所以不会对贤人高见一概排斥）
4.She would not be so weak as to throw away the comfort of a child and yet retain the anxiety of a parent!她不会如此软弱，以至于丢开了孩子的安慰，却还保留着为人父母的焦虑

肯定式：so + 形容词或副词 + as to：如此...以至于...
如：
* He was so busy as to have no enough time to complete his mission on time.他是那样忙以至于没有足够的时间去按时完成任务.（= He was so busy that he had no enough time to complete his mission on time [主句 + 结果状语从句]）
* He worked so hard as to succeed to complete his mission on time.他如此地工作以至于能够顺利地按时完成任务.（= 主从复合句 He worked so hard that he succeeded to complete his mission on time.[主句 + 结果状语从句]）
否定式：包括两种——
1、否定不定式：so ...as not to,如此...以至于不能.
如：
* He was so busy as not to have enough time to complete his mission on time.他是那样忙以至于没有足够的时间去按时完成任务.（否定转移,意思同上,= He was so busy that he did not have enough time to complete his mission on time）
* He worked so carelessly as not to succeed to complete his mission on time.他如此漫不经心的工作以至于未能顺利地按时完成任务.（= He worked so carelessly that he did not succeed to complete his mission on time.）
2、否定形容词或副词：not so ...as to：没如此...以至于.
如：
* He is not so busy as to have enough time to complete his mission on time.他不是那样忙以至于有足够的时间去按时完成任务.（= He was not so busy that he could have enough time to complete his mission on time.）
* He worked not so hard as to fail to complete his mission on time.他工作如此不努力以至于不能够顺利地按时完成任务.（= He did not work so hard that he failed to complete his mission on time.）
这是汉语对一个意思的两种不同表达方式,没有实质上的区别,因此与我的第二种否定式不存在矛盾.

——其实就是“她不会那么幼稚以至于相信他编造的故事”.“以至于相信”变通一下就是“所以不会轻信”,因此可以翻译为“她肯定不会轻信他编造的故事（她不会那么幼稚,所以不会轻信他编造的故事）”
2.She is not so foolish as to do that
——同上,as to do that 意思是“以至于会做出那样的事来”,可以变通为“所以不会干出那样的事”
3.I am not so violently bent upon my own opinion as to reject any offer proposed by wise men
——“我并不刚愎自用以至于对贤人高见一概排斥”变通为“她不会那么刚愎自用,所以不会对贤人高见一概排斥”
