The Traffic in the City Is Getting Worse
Without double, the traffic in the city is getting worse, especially during the peak hour.
Rising traffic congestion is an inescapable condition in large and growing metropolitan areas across the world, from Beijing to Shanghai, from Guangzhou to Jinan. Peak-hour traffic congestion is an inherent result of the way modern societies operate. It stems from the widespread desires of people to pursue certain goals that inevitably overload existing roads and transit systems every day. But everyone hates traffic congestion, and it keeps getting worse, in spite of attempted remedies.
Commuters are often frustrated by policymakers’ inability to do anything about the problem, which poses a significant public policy challenge. Although governments may never be able to eliminate road congestion, there are several ways cities and states can move to curb it.
Peak-hour traffic congestion in almost all large and growing metropolitan regions around the world is here to stay. In fact, it is almost certain to get worse during at least the next few decades, mainly because of rising populations and wealth. This will be true no matter what public and private policies are adopted to combat congestion.
But this outcome should not be regarded as a mark of social failure or misguided policies. In fact, traffic congestion often results from economic prosperity and other types of success.
Although traffic congestion is inevitable, there are ways to slow the rate at which it intensifies. Several tactics could do that effectively, especially if used in concert, but nothing can eliminate peak-hour traffic congestion from large metropolitan regions here and around the world. Only serious economic recessions—which are hardly desirable—can even forestall an increase.
For the time being, the only relief for traffic-plagued commuters is a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with a well-equipped stereo system, a hands-free telephone, and a daily commute with someone they like.
Finally, I wish the government is able to figure out this issue as soon as possible, and everyone will abide by the traffic rule in order to build up a better city and better life.

Today, with the developing of the ecomomy, the traffic condition in our city is getting worse, especially in rush hours. Traffic jams happen almost everyday. People waste a lot of time in waitting for the buses on their way home.
I've found two traffic problems in our city. one is too many parents send children to school in the moring and back home in the afternoon by car almost everyday expect vacations. And a lot of people who work in city or have enough money often want to own a car and most of them have car,they think drive to work is more fast . So at that time too many cars around the school or the way to work.Cars are as slow as tortoise. There is also another problem, in old district, there're enough parking spaces. Some people often park their cars on sidewalks. Pedestrians have to walk on the street among the cars, it is very dangerous.
In my view, I think the goverment should take measure to solve the traffic problems. Like Beijing ,the government notice which numeral in the car`s number can`t drive in which day .The person also do something. Can we use school buses instead of private cars taking children to school or home?can we go to work by bus? All of students include primary,middle and high school should all take school buses. Most of people go to work by bus. It will help reduce quantity of the cars in rush hours. About the problem of parking, I think the goverment should build more parking spack in the side of the streets.
Traffic problem effect everyone, we really hope to solve them soon.
