（1）平等就业和选择职业的权利

（2）获得劳动报酬的权利

（3）休息休假的权利

（4）获得劳动安全和劳动卫生保护的权利

（5）接受职业技能培训的权利

（6）享受社会保险和福利待遇的权利

（7）法律规定的其他劳动权利

（二）、未成年人的劳动权及法律保护

1、未成年人工作的年龄限制

区分未成年工和童工：

①未成年工的年龄，十六周岁至十八周岁之间；童工年龄则在法定的十六周岁以下

②未成年工事合法劳动者，其合法权益有明确规定，也受到法律的切实保护；童工一般为法律禁止使用，只有在特殊情况下，经一定机关批准，履行一定程序才得以允许。

2、对未成年工的特殊保护

第一，劳动时间不能太长

第二，劳动强度上要给予适当保护

So while they slept - my mother actually had the nerve5) to break the Child Labor Law. She made us work. We had to wash dishes, make beds, learn to cook and all sorts of cruel things. I believe she laid awake at night thinking up mean things to do to us.

Through the years, things didn't improve a bit. We could not lie in bed, "sick" like our friends did, and missschool. Our marks in school had to be up to par6). Our friends' report cards had beautiful colors on them, black for passing, red for failing. My mother, being as different as she was, would settle for7) nothing less than8) ugly black marks.

As the years rolled by, first one and then the other of us was put to shame. We were grad uated from high school. With our mother behind us, talking, hitting and demanding respect, none of us was allowed the plea sure of being a drop-out.

My mother was a complete failure as a mother. Out of four children, a couple of us attained some higher education. None of us have ever been arrested or divorced. Each of my brothers served his time in the service of this country. She forced us to grow up into God-fearing, educated, honest adults. Using this as a background, I am now trying to raise my three children. I am filled with pride when my children call me mean. Why?

Because now I thank God every day for giving me the meanest mother in the whole world.
