1. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading and writing, but did not do well in listening and speaking. I helped them improve their listening and speaking. Their parents thought highly of me. I realized that knowledge is greatly needed in the countryside.
今年我去农村过暑假.我喜欢那儿绿油油的植物,清澈的小河和可爱的动物.我在山上呼吸新鲜的空气,有时在河里游泳.我每天记日记.
我不仅喜欢那里的景色,而且喜欢那里的人.我帮他们干农活,帮助邻家的孩子复习功课.孩子们对英语很感兴趣,他们在读、写方面很好,但听、说不好.我帮助他们提高听、说能力,他们的父母高度赞扬了我.我意识到农村确实需要知识.
2. Out of School
Now more and more children in the countryside are out of school. One Of the reasons is that their parents haven’t much money to afford their study. They have to stay at home to earn money to support their families. What a pity! And another reason is that many parents think it is useless for girls to study and they would not like them to go to school. On the other hand, some children are not interested in their lessons and would not like to go to school.
I think all the children, including girls, should have the right to receive education. We have the duty to lend them a hand When they are in trouble. All the people should pay attention to the education of children who will play a very important part in the future of our country.
失学
现在,越来越多的农村孩子失学了.一个原因是因为他们的父母没有很多的钱供他们上学,他们不得不在家里赚钱养家.大不幸了!另外一个原因就是很多家长都认为读书对女孩子没用,所以不让她们读书.另一方面,一些孩子对学习不感兴趣,不愿上学.
我认为所有的孩子(包括女孩)都有权利接受教育.我们有义务在他们困难时伸出手来帮助他们.人们应当重视孩子的教育问题,因为他们对国家的未来将起到非常重要的作用.
3. On Perseverance
"Try and try until you succeed." This saying shows the importance of perseverance. I have found through experience that only through hard work can we succeed.Many people have failed in their work or studies, precisely because they had no perseverance. Life, in general, as in many things we do, has never been easy. No one promised us what it would be.
So, if we want to succeed in life, we must be brave to win. This is the standard that differentiates people who succeed in life and those who don't.
论毅力
“努力,努力,再努力直至成功”,这句俗语说明了毅力的重要性.我通过经验发现只有经过艰苦的努力,才能获得成功.许多人在工作或学习中失败了,恰好是因为他们缺乏毅力.总之,生活就和我们做的许多事情一样,从来就不是容易的.没有人给我们许诺未来生活是什么样子.
因此,如果我们要想获得生活的成功,我们就必须勇于拼搏.这是区别获得生活成功的人和不成功的人的标准
4. There Should Be No "Little Emperors"
This afternoon on my way home I saw lots of people standing:at the gate of the primary school. I didn'tknow what they are doing there at first. Then a group ofpupils came out of the school. Those people outside the gate went close to the pupils and called out names like "Lingling", "Fangfang", "Xiaohua", etc. Then I knew they had come to meet their children.
These children and other children like them are so happy that they are all like "little emperors"
It's not good at all. Children will be the builders of our-country in the future. There are so many things for them to learn. Later many things will be done by them. This means that they shouldn't be "little emperors"
On the contrary, they should depend on themselves. And they sh0uid do everything they can do without the help of their parents!
Our country's future will be held in the hands of today's children, and, they will be its masters. So they should learn their parents' good habits and get rid of their own 15ad ones. Their parents can't look after them forever.
不应该做“小皇帝”
下午,在回家的路上,我发现一个小学门口站着许多人.起初,我不知道他们在那里干什么.接着,一群小学生从学校出来了.门口的那些人走近这些学生,并喊叫名字,如“玲玲”、“芳芳”、“小华”等等.我明白了,原来是家长来接孩子的.
像他们这样的小孩被宠得像“小皇帝”一样.做“小皇帝”一点也不好.儿童是祖国未来的建设者,对他们来说,有很多东西需要学习,以后有很多事情由他们去做.这就意味着他们不应该做“小皇帝”.
相反,他们应该依靠自己.在没有父母帮助的情况下,他们应该做一些力所能及的事.
我们祖国的未来将掌握在当今儿童手中,他们将是国家的主．人.所以孩子们应学习父母的良好习惯,去掉自己的不良习惯.须知,父母是不能永远照顾自己的.
5. Getting up Early ts a Good Habit
Getting up early has been regarded as a good habit since ancient times. Many years ago, people thought that if we went to bed early and got up early, we would be vigorous the whole day.
In fact, spring is the best seasonof a year; morning is the best time of a day.In the morning, the air is the freshest and people are usually in the best conditions.Many of us may have the experiences that we memorize some things more quickly and accurately in the morning than at any other time of the day. If we do some exercises or only take a short walk in the morning, we will be full of energy the whole day.Also we will have enough time to prepare our work of the day if we get up early. In short, getting up early can do us a lot of good.
Let us remember getting up early is a good habit and try our best to keep it. We will certainly benefit a lot from it.
早起是个好习惯
从古代起,早起就一直被视为好习惯.很久以前,人们就认为如果我们早睡早起,一整天都会精神饱满.
实际上,一年之际在于春,一日之际在于晨.早晨空气最新鲜,人们的状态通常也最好.很多人可能都有这样的经历,那就是早上记东西比其他任何时间都能记得快、记得准确.如果我们早上做些运动或散步,这一天我们都会精力充沛.而且如果我们能够早起,就会有充足的时间准备一天的工作.总之,早起对我们非常有益.
让我们记住早起是个好习惯,并尽量保持这种习惯,我们必将从中受益不少.
6. My mother has a pair of keen eyes which can speak. Whenever I encounter difficulties, her eyes will encourage me and help me cheer up.
When I began learning to walk, mother always lent me a hand and encouraged me to stand up while I fell down. As I finally threw myself into her arms, her eyes Smiled with praise. Aftei I entered the school, mother’s eyes still encouraged me. Once I failed my Chinese exam, my mother helped me find out the reasons instead of blaming me. Now I have grown up and become more independent, but whenever I come across setbacks, my mother’s eyes are always with me encouraging me wherever I go.
我的母亲有一双敏锐的、会说话的眼睛.每当我遇到困难时,这双眼睛总是鼓励我,帮我振作起来.

7. 第一篇：Today is the first day that we start our summer camp. Everybody is amazed at the foreign teacher. They have white skin, yellow hair, blue eyes……But no one is very beautiful or handsome.
Foreigners are very tall or fat. I don’t like them. White skin with them is a little ugly. All day around I found that two thirds of the day time I was sleepy. I think tomorrow will be better.
第2篇：Today is sunny day, the sunshine is very nice. I am very happy, because I meet some new classmates, chinese teachers and an Englsih teacher. They are really friendly to me. In the morning we go to meeting room to atten the opening ceremony of the summer camp. There are so many people in it. Then I have a test. In fact, I really can’t stand it. In the afternoon, we meet English teacher. He is really tall and thin. He is funny and friendly. The lesson is very interesting. We like him. Then we meet Maria Zhang. She can speak English very well. She teachs them about genesis and sing an English song. They are so great.
Ho, I’m free and I’m happy!

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We haven’t enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.
